Part of the Bumble Hill suri fibre success is due to the strength of the female bloodlines.  Not only are our hembras selected for their fecundity,frame, robust constitution and temperament, but additionally they must match the covering sire for stability of colour genetics and quality of fleece.  Whilst we seldom show our females, we nevertheless have considerable success with female suri fleeces in major fleece shows.
